We are very proud of achieving the state's highest rating for the third straight year. In the past the highest state rating was "Excellent". For the first time this year in Ohio, the state also measured how much students grew from the previous year. To qualify for the "Excellent with Distinction" rating, schools had to meet the state standards set for Excellence. Additionally, the student test result had to show the district had grown students for 2 straight years above the state established benchmarks.
We are very proud to have achieved this rating. Achieving such high performance is always gratifying. It is even more amazing when we are only 1 of 9 school districts in all of Central Ohio to achieve this rating. "Excellent with Distinction" rating this year. YOu can see the county the district is in. You'll also see how much each of these districts spent per pupil on each child's education and how much revenue each of them had to spend per pupil.
Bexley City FRA $13,235.48 $15,242.40
Dublin City FRA $11,443.67 $11,033.74
New Albany Plain FRA $10,873.95 $11,371.18

Pickerington Local Fair $ 8,917.08 $ 8,900.83
Olentangy Local DEL $ 8,506.93 $ 8,957.45
Jonathan Alder MAD $ 7,510.06 $ 7,493.82
Ohio Average $ 9,622.67 $10,012.53
As you can see, our district spends considerably less money per pupil than other high-performing school districts in Central Ohio. We also spend far less than schools across the state in these two categories.
Thanks to all the JA employees who work so hard to make our schools a great place for kids. A big thank-you also goes out to our parents and community members for your continued support.
